The Gordon JCC offers a broad range of swim programs to meet the needs of our growing community. We provide group swimming classes in a caring, structured learning environment for people of all ages and abilities. Because every child and adult learns at a different pace, our highly qualified instructors focus on individual improvement and building confidence in each swimmer.
Our Curriculum
We use programming from the Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI), a leading provider of swim lesson curriculum and safety training with over 25 years of expertise. Benchmarks are established at each stage to measure both swimming and water safety skills. Students participate in experiential learning to promote independence in the water, while correct techniques are taught from the beginning.
Our instructors communicate progress regularly through a token reward system and online reporting, so families stay connected to the learning process.

Starfish Swim School (Ages 4–12)
Students work toward the development of the five core swimming competencies and receive color stage awards for each achievement.
