CHILDREN 3-5

PLAYBALL Tennis & Soccer

Loving a sport teaches children vital life skills — discipline, motivation, commitment, and cooperation. The JCC’s PLAYBALL program introduces sports in a play setting to help pre-schoolers develop fundamental motorskills for excelling at sports later in life. Our program focuses on hand-eye coordination, positioning, jumping, balancing and more.

 

CHILDREN 5 -7

Jr. NBA Basketball & Jr. FIFA Soccer Program

Junior programs teach the fundamentals of each sport. Great for children who are beginning to play organized sports or are new to the sport. Jr. NBA Basektball includes coaching on shooting techniques, dribbling fundamentals, ball handling, and defensive strategies. Jr. FIFA Soccer includes coaching on dribbling, shooting, long kicks, passing and defense. Jr. sports focus on skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun.

CHILDREN 5-10

Jr. Youth Tennis & Jr. Youth Indoor Soccer

For beginners up to age 10. Junior programs teach the fundamentals of each sport. Jr. Youth Tennis teaches core skills through drills and group games. Students play from the baseline with orange balls.  used for teaching. Jr. Youth Soccer teaches core skills including dribbling, shooting, long kicks, passing and defense and introduces side-to-side format.

 

Youth Open Play

Enjoy the gym with other children in a supervised environment on Sunday afternoons. Children 12 and under are free to play games, use the gym for indoors sports, and spend time with other children. Youth Open Play offers semi-structured or individual play.

 

New!  Fencing

Learn basic fencing technique and enhance general fitness through training, games and fun exercises. In addition to the basics of fencing, students will develop familiarity with fencing rules, equipment, terminology and movements while keeping a spirit of free play and creativity. Class takes place in our amazing fitness studio.

CHILDREN 8-10
