This series will explore ten of the most famous stories in the Talmud and attempt to understand the Rabbinic Tradition and how it shapes the way we live as Jews today. You’ll have the opportunity to study Jewish text in an accessible format (all text sources are in English and Hebrew) with a Havrutah component (partnered learning) highlighted by in person and live on-line sessions with Rabba Yaffa Epstein,  Director of Education, North America at Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies who is recognized internationally as a renowned Jewish teacher and scholar. Sessions will be held at the Gordon Jewish Community Center from 1-2:30pm except 11/19. 11/19 session will be held in conjunction with the Nashville Global Day of Jewish Learning at the Akiva School from 11:15am-12:45pm.
