The theme for last year’s Under One Roof exhibit was Honor Humanity, K’vod Ha’Briot. To honor humanity is an intrinsic value in Judaism which emphasizes the inherent dignity and worth of every individual. It is also a value that transcends cultural, religious, and societal boundaries. It is vital that we are mindful of how we treat one another. All human beings should be treated with kindness, compassion, and empathy. When we acknowledge this, we respect our innate differences and see what every human being has to offer in this world. By honoring humanity, we are pursuing justice, equality, and working towards a harmonious and inclusive society.
